I LOVED the winter mac & cheese dishes at Noodles & Company, so I was really curious to see what they would bring to me for the Spring.
I’m glad they kept my garlic toast & Korean Gochujang BBQ meatballs!
New for still chilly Michigan spring is the Chicken Thai Soup. It’s kind of sweet & I like the veggies in the soup & thick soup base. & this healthy eater loves just 1 more reminder of the ingredients on those crackers (non-GMO)! Did you know that Noodles & Company is very very particular about their ingredients?
Newest for Spring in main dishes are the Adobo & Thai Green Curry bowls. Also, an old fan favorite, Pasta Al Fresco, is returning by popular demand. I liked the unique twist on traditional curry flavors (especially the fun pineapple treat to break up the flavor even more) but the Adobo was my favorite new dish. It was like a warm bowl of chilli.
chilli-like spicy sauce with chicken or pork, red onion, roasted mushrooms, sour cream, olives, cilantro, & a lime for sprinkling.
shrimp with a sweet coconut green curry sauce, rice noodles, sweet pineapple, broccoli, red onion slices, snap peas, black sesame seeds, cilantro, & of course a dash of lime.
1 dish we ate that I have tried before was the Japanese Pan Noodles. 1 twist we tried this night was using tofu as our protein (did you know you can mix & match at Noodles & Company?). I have not had tofu before & this was a fun way to try it out. The sauce of the noodles helps bring some flavor to the basic tofu.
