As loud & funky as The Morrie is at dinner, we bloggers had a quieter but still eclectically funky musical vibe morning of fun & we were able to concentrate on some more in-depth topics in our talks.

Eater Detroit voted The Morrie as 1 of the top bottomless mimosas in Detroit. & I would agree with that.

But if that isn’t your “thing”, Amanda @ The World Incorporated showed me her cool Bloody Morrie.

I was so tempted to try the French toast with The Morrie’s fresh homemade bread, but I had French Toast a few days before & I exercised a lot of healthy self-control. I like getting bowls sometimes because I can smoosh everything together like a giant soup. My Southwest Bowl was filled with scrambled eggs, tater tots, (not too spicy) chorizo sausage, cilantro, tomato, Monterey Jack cheese, onion, pickled jalapeños, & an avocado spread.

Similarly, The Morrie has similar bowl themes with a Veggie Bowl, Smoked Salmon, & their famous brisket beef.

Next time though, I need to try the Chicken & Waffles, just to say that I did.

As I noticed at my last visit by not being a regular visitor to Royal Oak, I saw how much parking is actually very close by to The Morrie. & The Morrie is right on Main Street as you arrive into town from Woodward & I-696. Very easy for me to navigate.
