Emma (Kate Micucci) begins her life anew in San Francisco after a boyfriend (Josh Brener) jilts her in her life in Minnesota. With her cat Ajax & dog Summit in tow, she settles into life at a new job making & marketing a new astrology ap with a new friend & confidante Nina (Hana Mae Lee). As fate of the stars would have it, the Supermoon & crossing stars line up 1 night as Emma’s pets accidentally get out the door.

Ajax & Summit now become Diego (Justin Chatwin) & Sam (Steve Howey) in real life.

I was laughing so hard as Diego & Sam navigate life as humans! They keep so many animal mannerisms while having fun in human world. But what they lack in “people skills” though they make up for in “feeling skills” from being the well-trained personal Emma pets. They give Emma wise words as they try to show her how real true gentleman should properly treat a lady.

Unleashed runs 96 minutes & stars Kate Micucci, Justin Chatwon, Steve Howey, Hana Mae Lee, Josh Brener, Illeana Douglas, & Sean Astin. You can check out the official Facebook, Twitter, & website. The movie is available OnDemand & in select theaters NOW.

This sounds like a funny, kind of cute movie! I love the animal/human type movies like this. Being a pet owner, I often wonder how my cats and hedgehog would fair as humans. LOL

I always wonder what pets are thinking, and this movie sounds like it’ll tell me in a hilarious way. And, I love Steve Howey, he’s always good for a laugh.

I love the idea behind this movie. We often romanticize our pets as the beings that love us unconditionally, and this will show a different side I think.
